Front Mission 1st Remake Game Review

In the year 2090, world wars are fought through massive war-machines known as Wanzers. Huffman Island is the location that there is an Oceania Cooperative Union, (O.C.U.) is found. as well as the Unified Continental States (U.C.S.) are neighbors that share a border on land. This has become a major source of conflict.

A O.C.U. reconnaissance team under the command of Captain Royd Clive is assigned to examine a U.C.S. munitions plant. They’re sprayed by U.C.S. They are ambushed by U.C.S. The Wanzers. This causes a chain of events that plunge whole island into war. Royd’s fiancee, Lieutenant Karen Meure, goes missing in action.

After being discharged from the military, Royd begins to look into the circumstances surrounding what happened to Karen. He finds himself closer to truth, as do the culprits.

With dozens of characters to meet, its mature story, and non-Manichean protagonists, Front Mission is the standard of the tactical Japanese RPG genre, finally accessible worldwide.
