Lloyd Bannings, who spent three years in exile from Crossbell, returns to his hometown to carry on the legacy of his brother as well as join Crossbell Police Department. He arrives to find that they have assigned him to the Special Support Section. This is a division which handles the odd and minor demands. His new team includes Elie MacDowell (granddaughter of the mayor); Randy Orlando (ex-soldier who’s womanizing); and Tio Plato (young technological genius).
Even though their organization is mocked by the media and belittled at by the rest of CPD, Lloyd and his colleagues continue to work to make their city more livable.
